Anyway I had finished writing a reply to you icrusified when the forum got cleaned up
I'll try again..
Yes I know WHY you like the first one, but it does NOT suck! Not at all. Are there issues? You bet! The real problem is not the game its self or Bongfish. This debacle all lays on Destineers hands. HAD they done the proper distribution it wouldn't be DEAD now. THEY WERE NOT AGGRESSIVE ENOUGH with their approach. Also, Destineer has left a bad taste in many mouths due to what happened between Nov 08- Feb 09 and that has carried over. I honestly think the community has had it with the way Destineer has handled the series! This is not right for Bongfish to be stuck on the losing end. Again, if Destineer can't do their JOB for Bongfish, then the only choice for Bongfish is to FIND ANOTHER PUBLISHER before this series becomes 'short lived'. Something radical is going to have to be done to repair this damage!!

| Your absolutley right. On all accounts. The game didn't suck and it is still a cut above the rest. But lik I said stoked og is the best snowboarding game I have ever played. I guess I just got a little upset they made a new game instead of finishing the first. |

I think I know what your getting at. Sorta like how some, including myself feel about OG Amped and Amped 2. Where as OG Amped is full sim, just like OG Stoked. I'm also aware much of this distaste has to do with what you just mentioned, as many wanted the Big Air content DLC for OG Stoked, instead of having to buy another disc. Obviously many said we won't buy another game since it SHOULD be DLC for Stoked, and even though the distribution of BA went in the shitter, there is still not that many people buying it as a discovery on the shelves... We have a few supporters, but most of the fans spoke and said NO. I dunno, Big Air is nice, but maybe it wasn't the right move to make after all ....

| True. I also think they were trying to get a feel for what fans really wanted in the game too. I think they were pressured really hard to put more sponsors and objects to jib in the game by fans even though it wasn't in the original plan. I think what ended up happening was that the team was trying to satisfy everyone with the second game (which worked for some) but I think they should have stuck with their convictions and polished off the first one. Though I could be wrong as I quite often am when I assume like this. I liked a lot of the things they did in BA. As well like the polished falls and the carving. And as far as paying for the second game , it didn't bother me because they were both only 40 bucks which means technically I only paid $20 for the second one anyway (may have mentioned this before but that's what I tell myself). It wasn't like I paid $60 for halo 3 and paid another sixty on top for the retarded odst expansion. So for that I applaud bongfish. In fact I can't even think of any game that's been sold under sixty on release day. That alone was enough to get me excited lol. |

It is a shame that the more recent posts here are peddlers.
I just bought this game in February - again the Canada issue of not being informed about the game and having to buy online - and finally beat the single player. I'm hoping to get some LIVE riding in... but it seems the online community is kind of dead. If anyone is down for getting in a session sometime give me a shout |
